September, 2009:
Finding skilled players is easy.
Getting them to play well together is the real challenge...
You see, Banefire is more than a batch of skilled endgamers
We believe that, while WoW itself is just a game, intangibles
like mutual respect, camaraderie and unselfish spirit can elevate
the game to be a rewarding part-time lifestyle.
Playing one's character well is important, but how we treat each other
is even more important. Whether it is progressing through the Chamber of Aspects, farming Sapphiron, or just questing and
running dailies, Banefire is about respect and decency and honor,
and making game time a real connection between good people.
We believe in sappy intangibles. We believe in cooperation, ![]() Banefire's ranks are quite full at this time, but we are open
to exceptional applicants. If you are a mature player over 21, are good at
your class, and believe in giving more than taking, then please read more
about us here at our site.
Again: welcome to Banefire.com!

Again, I have been lax in updating the website! And I lost the raid kill photos
for the ToC Twins!
Belated congrats to all the hard work by our endgamers, and big congrats
to our two most-recently leveled 80's: Thekurgan and Eric's priest.
I'll post some more news when I have some more time and more pics! Watch
for an updated raid schedule for ToC 10 and Ulduar 10. Toc 25 and
Ulduar 25 continue on the weekends as usual.

Apologies for neglecting the website these last weeks, folks. (trying to fit in real life while
also absorbing all this new patch 3.2 content!) Nevertheless: it's been a busy few weeks over at Banefire guild. Despite lower summer attendance, we've had a good couple weeks of Ulduar 10 and 25, and Coliseum 10 and 25. Grats to all the raiders who have gotten iLevel 232 upgrades lately! Badge farming continues. Check the guild forums for more details! June 28Posted by XphileJune 28, 2009 at 11:56 pm
Holy frak. Some great raiding this weekend!
1. Naxxramas 25 cleared in one afternoon.
2. Seven Ulduar 10 bosses cleared.
3. Seven Ulduar 25 bosses cleared.
We might take a break from raiding this week, as it is Canada Day and
Fourth of July. But watch for impromptu pug and achievement
parties in guild chat!
Good work, everyone!
June 21Posted by XphileJune 21, 2009 at 10:45 pmExcellent weekend of raiding, everyone! Five Ulduar 25 bosses,
a Naxx 25 clear, plus eight Ulduar 10 bosses.
Raid schedule this week is being updated to accomodate the
requests for non-progression raids and retro raids. Watch the
guild announcements for more details.
June 15Posted by XphileJune 15, 2009 at 3:27 am The splash damage there is easily 3x more than Ignis 10.
Nevertheless, our healers did a splendid job healing our arses,
and our add tanks did great work rounding up those annoying adds.
Special kudos to MasterVayk, Gleny 'Single Malt' tank boy, Hazmat Yazimat,
Dominium Jason, Syrell of Oklahoma, Heaven, Lil, Lara, Kontee, NotCool Jay,
Pennsylvania Manda, and all the healers and tanks who kept us going through
Ignis 25! Stay tuned for updates on the next Ulduar 25 raid night...

Special thanks to our ribald friends at RD!
Amidst some good laughs and good spirit, Ulduar 25 bosses
were spanked this weekend with Vayk and Eeyore and the merry
band of Red Dawners. Frackers, Dics, and Donuts notwithstanding,
that was a good time with some good new friends!

Big grats to all the Ulduar raiders this week! This Tuesday, we will be doing some
Eye of Eternity, and possibly Emalon (Wintergrasp pending). Zolt and Baz are
also interested in doing more group PvP, so watch for guild announcements
on more battlegrounds and arena.
Special grats to Snorker and Dumblonde on their very recent achievements in
Naxx and Ulduar. And watch for info on the beta release of Stargate Worlds
that some of us are in the beta group for!

Outstanding raid work this week, folks! Ulduar is going splendidly, and Mimiron
progression is very inspiring to see. More importantly: we've had a lot of fun
this week. With the retro raid of Zul'Gurub as a nice change, it's good to see that
we are settling into a summer rhythm and keeping the game interesting through
June and July.
Great work, everyone!
